If you’re here, we know you’re interested in helping your own community ‘go green.’ Whatever that means to you, and wherever you are on your journey, we are here to provide the informational resources, tools, and ideas to help you along the way. We’re all different in the way we go green. Some of us are hard-driving eco-activists, while others may be hyper-focused on individual projects. Some may have chosen a single category of focus, such as climate action, food waste reduction, or resource preservation. Still others might be involved in multiple activities that span a diversity of ‘green’ initiatives. Wherever we fall on the compendium, most of us have probably experienced a sense of being overwhelmed by all the needs that surround us and/or confusion as to where to begin making a difference. At GGL, we’re excited to offer a new tool to help people hone in on their interests, take advantage of their biggest opportunities, and benefit from the experience and expertise of others. We invite you to join our online community on Discord and connect via voice, video, or text with a national peer support network - along with receiving exclusive invitations to our sustainability, environmental, and climate-focused channels. Each month, GGL will curate and distribute new information, online activities, free resources, engaging discussions, and giveaways. Our meetings and chat rooms will be available to members for sharing insights, generating innovative ideas, and navigating current systems, all while exploring how to create more functional, sustainable systems together.
